Proceed to Online Registration for Fall 2008

Mansfield Youth Soccer is again offering an online registration process for Fall 2008. To help facilitate the process please read this entire page before beginning the process.

After evaluating several options for registration and taking into consideration the privacy and security of performing online transactions by credit card, the board voted with full confidence to begin online registration. MYS realizes that some parents do not have access to a computer, while others have a need for financial assistance. If you would like to request financial assistance, please mail in a registration form along with a brief note requesting assistance. MYS is sensitive to these issues and have allowed for these exceptions. Due to these changes, forms will not be automatically mailed to parents. Forms are available at the Mansfield library.

Fees and Dates

MYS is committed to offering the opportunity to play soccer to any child in the town of Mansfield. Please keep in mind that timely registration of all players allows MYS to operate most effectively. Please note there is no flexibility in the registration deadlines for ROAD TEAM players due to the tryout and placement of players and teams required to be on a strict schedule with BAYS.

MYS instituted an increase in the Fall 2007 registration fees for some of our players. The increase in certain registration fees is directly related to increased costs associated with registering each player with Massachusetts Youth Soccer, outfitting the players and MYS' continued contribution to the maintenance of the town owned soccer fields. While MYS would prefer not to increase our registration fees, the overall long-term fiscal health of the program is dependant upon it at this time. MYS board still believes that the benefits provided by our program to be worth the associated costs to our players and their parents and or guardians.

ON TIME registration for both the In Town and Road Programs for the Fall season will be held from April 19th through May 20th. In Town registrations received after May 20th will be deemed LATE . Any registration received after May 20th will have a fee of $20.00 per PLAYER associated with it. Last day to register for Road Team is May 20th - no exceptions.

MYS will make every effort to place In Town players directly on a team even if they register after the deadlines. If a player can not be placed due to full rosters then the player's registration fee will be returned as a check from MYS.

Fees are :
         $65     for U5 Intown players (DOB 8/1/03 - 7/31/04)
         $75     for U6 - U14 Intown players (DOB 8/1/02 - 7/31/95)
         $80     for all travel players
         $200   Family maximum
         $20   Late fee per PLAYER received after May 20th

Choosing Paper Forms or Online Registration

The advantages for registering online are numerous and the efficiency as well the accuracy of the process makes it error free. Since MYS is an organization run by parent volunteers, everyone will be assisting in the registration process by entering their own information and paying automatically.

If you absolutely need to register via regular mail please obtain a form below and mail it with the appropriate fee to:

Please do not hand registration forms and checks to the concession stand personnel.   Paper forms will only be accepted via mail in.

If you are in need of a financial assistance, please attach a letter to the application requesting full or partial assistance.

Instructions for Online Registration

MYS thanks you in advance for using online registration. Follow the link below to our secure, online registration site. Once there you should follow the process below to register and pay for Fall 2008 soccer for your children.

Season Information: Display of registration fees and guide for age bracket leagues. Pay special attention to DOB of leagues since player will automatically default to league based on DOB.

Family Look up: Families previously registered with MYS will display from the last name search. Select correct family based on street and # of children playing soccer. If family is not previously registered with MYS or not found in search then create a new account.

Player Selection/Registration: Select or add player to register. League for player will be defaulted based on cut off date and DOB. Change the default if requesting one over the other; intown or travel or if requesting player to play with grade for intown teams only. Uniforms will be ordered at this step, please be prepared to size uniforms at this step.

Volunteer questions: Fill out volunteer questions and comments. Please be sure to provide DOB as this is how our organization CORI checks volunteers.

Checkout: Check summary of charges then move on to complete the credit card transaction. No child will be denied the opportunity to play soccer for financial reasons.

Player questions: Fill out email address and players questions for as many children you have registered.

DONE: Process is complete. Close browser window. Email receipt will be sent to you as confirmation of your registration.

Parents wishing to withdraw their child after submitting a registration should refer to the Refund Request Form.
