Mansfield Futsal Academy 2012-2013
With the Spring Season just around the corner and snow still on the ground, this session offers players an opportunity to get back into soccer mode by getting alot of touches on the ball before the outdoor fields are ready for play. As the New England Futsal Academy slogan goes, "We develop soccer players at a fast pace, very fast!" Developing players to have the confidence to possess the ball and be creative at a young age is the key to unlocking the game for them as they get older.
Session 3 has five (one hour) sessions of technical skills and small sided games will take place on Friday Nights at the MPLEX, under the supervision of BILL SAMPAIO - National Director of Coaching for US Futsal.
DATES: FRIDAY NIGHTS on March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29th
LOCATION: The M-PLEX, 31 OXFORD RD, MANSFIELD, MA 02048
Three time slots with up to two courts for different ages and skill levels:
- 6PM - 7PM U6 and U8 Futsal Training Session. Five hours of training will be done in 5 sessions of 1hr each. The sessions will be held at the MPlex in Mansfield on the following Friday Nights: March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29th.
- 7PM - 8PM U10 and U12 Futsal Training . Five hours of training will be done in 5 sessions of 1hr each. The sessions will be held at the MPlex in Mansfield on the following Friday Nights: March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29th.
- 7PM - 8PM U14 and U16 Futsal Training Session. Five hours of training will be done in 5 sessions of 1hr each. The sessions will be held at the MPlex in Mansfield on the following Friday Nights: March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29th.
Each player will receive a Free T-shirt.

Summer Camps
Although there is still snow on the ground, for you early planners, Mansfield Youth Soccer (MYS) and our Partners have combined again to offer Summer Soccer Camps with dates in July and August at the Plymouth St complex. These opportunities are for players of all age and skill levels who want to improve their technical and tactical skills with age appropriate curriculum in a fun and safe environment. Working with Hornets Soccer Camp and Tetrabrazil, MYS is pleased to offer the following summer training opportunities.
July/Aug: (Offering two separate weeks July 22-26 and July 29 - Aug 2)
Hornets Soccer Camp is offering its 13th Annual Summer Hornets Soccer Camp locally at the Plymouth St Complex in Mansfield. The camp has a full schedule of activities including training sessions “geared to help players improve techniques of dribbling, passing, shooting, and receiving. Sessions will also help players improve their tactical decision.” The camp is being run by Kevin Smith, Mansfield High School Girls Varsity Coach. Additional training details and registration information will be available over the next few days, please check back.

Challenger Sports is back for their third year in Mansfield offering the Tetrabrazil Soccer Academy at the Plymouth St Complex. The camp has a full schedule of activities that “will teach your child more than just techniques and tactics. Each member of the TetraBrazil coaching staff will bring an authentic taste of the flair, passion, and creativity of Brazilian soccer to our camps.” The camp is being run by well-trained coaches visiting from abroad to share their knowledge and passion for the game.
