Fields of Green Fundraising Campaign
The Fields of Green Committee is entering its last year of fund raising! We are amazed by and extremely grateful to the Mansfield community which is committed to improving the health and well-being of our youth through sports, and to enhancing Mansfield's recreational space.
We are within 8% of our goal! We have raised $415,000 of the $1,000,000 needed to rebuild the Plymouth St. fields, and we are qualified for a $500,000 loan! Although we've come a long way in three years, we still need to close the gap by July 1st so we can begin construction this summer and complete the field in time for the fall season and MYS's Annual Columbus Day Tournament.
Over the next 6 months our FoG committee will be communicating through newspaper articles, MYS newsletter and MYS website our progress towards the construction phase. We will be looking for any and all help with our final fundraising push and asking our community partners to be a part of one of the largest recreational community improvement projects in Mansfield!
